Cheshire-based The Ice Cream Farm is here to kick off the warm weather with a bang, with the ultimate drive-thru service we never knew we even needed. Serving up their award-winning ice cream, which is made on-site at the farm, The Ice Cream Farm allows fans to enjoy over 50 of their tasty flavours by ordering from the comfort of their own cars.
Flavours include the classics such as mint chocolate chip and raspberry ripple, with more experimental flavours also up for grabs as part of the drive-thru offering, including Creme Egg, Jammie Dodger and even a Malteser-inspired flavour. The farm’s latest service launched during lockdown, and it’s been incredibly popular with both locals and visitors from afar.
Open every day of the week, customers can choose from ice creams in both tubs or by the scoop, with additional items such as milkshakes and cold drinks available to order, too.
Speaking of the decision to develop the concept four summers ago during the pandemic, Director of The Ice Cream Farm Jonathan Fell, said: “We have seen other attractions and restaurants offering a ‘click and collect’ type offer but we wanted to explore how we could offer something a little bit different whilst still adhering to the guidelines.
“After a lot of Zoom calls, we have managed to design something that provides our visitors with almost the full range of our ice cream whilst maintaining strict health and safety practices for both our team and customers. A ‘Drive-Thru’ concept is something that I have always thought would be a welcome addition to the attraction.”
The new concept has become a permanent service for the popular Cheshire spot, allowing guests to come and go as they please – particularly those who simply want to pick up a cold treat and go.
Guests can currently visit The Ice Cream Farm for drive-thru ice cream every day between 12-4pm, and more information (including for those with dietary requirements) can be found on their website.
