Announcing in a fairly nondescript post on their Instagram back in February 2021, Sugo Pasta Kitchen is opening a third restaurant in Greater Manchester – this time, venturing into Sale. The restaurant will join beloved Rudy’s in taking up residence in the area, providing locals with two of the best right on their doorsteps.
The post, which simply states ‘M33’ in bold text, sparked excitement among Sugo’s 28,000 strong follower base, with many leaving comments of delight that the restaurant will be opening a new site in South Manchester. The new venue will join their existing sites in both Altrincham and Ancoats, which have proven incredibly popular with Mancs.
Following numerous delays and roadblocks, the owners have now finally revealed that the venue is set to open this April 26th – following a successful crowdfunding campaign which was quickly backed by fans of their food.
The move marks a positive development for Sale, with a number of young businesses – including Rudy’s – flocking to the area. Taking over a space that’s also inhabited by popular convenience chain General Stores this November, locals can expect their delicious Southern Italian pasta menu similarly to Altrincham and Ancoats – which includes popular plates such as their House Sugo with beef shin and Strozzapreti with Tuscan sausage.
Bookings are open now, ahead of the grand opening at 5pm on April 26th. Guests will also get to enjoy 40% off from 26th-28th April.
