Festive beers at Box on the Docks are coming…
Highly popular Salford-born brewery Seven Bro7hers is set to take over MediaCityUK this Christmas, with the grand return of the hit ‘Box on the Docks’ pop up. Receiving a festive makeover for the new season, the greenhouses which sit among the bustle of MediaCityUK will see a host of local businesses take over for a short time, giving us plenty to look forward to this winter.
But first up is Seven Bro7hers, who’ll be ‘popping up’ on November 4th with beers and burgers in a COVID-safe, socially-distanced environment that’ll be truly ‘insta-worthy’. This year’s Box on the Docks will consist of 30 self-contained sheds and greenhouses, all of which will be specially decorated by local artists with fun artwork and interactive experiences.
In addition to the festive makeover, this season’s greenhouses will also feature indoor heating to shelter us from the chilly Manchester temperatures.
Keith McAvoy, CEO of SEVEN BRO7HERS, said: “We are really excited to be launching our MediaCityUK pop up, it’s a great opportunity to get our beer in front of new customers and offer a new experience for loyal bro7hers fans.
“As restrictions rumble on across Greater Manchester we have to keep our spirits up in the run up to Christmas… and nothing brightens the mood more than pizza and beer.
“Due to covid-19 our beer houses in Liverpool and Leeds have been delayed until 2021, we can’t wait to launch but it has to be the right time for us and our customers.”
The Dockyard, Wagamama, Vertigo and The Botanist are also confirmed to be taking over Box on the Docks this winter, alongside twinkling Christmas lights and the popular Makers Markets, which will both be making an appearance at MediaCityUK this Christmas.
Box on the Docks opens on November 4th, and greenhouses are available to book Wednesday-Sunday from 12pm til 10pm.
