It’s been eleven years since Manchester-born pizzeria Rudy’s stole our hearts for the first time, opening in Ancoats’ Cutting Room Square. And now, Rudy’s has confirmed it will be bringing its renowned Neapolitan pizzas to Salford for the first time, with a new restaurant opening in Monton village this autumn – marking their ninth pizzeria within Greater Manchester.
The new Monton pizzeria will be Rudy’s first Salford location and 41st restaurant to date
The new pizzeria, located on Monton Road, will transform the former Bennetts Furnishers store that has been vacant since 2022, with work now officially underway. The spacious venue will mark Rudy’s 41st restaurant to date, and to celebrate the opening, the pizzeria is giving away 3,000 pizzas on the house.
Commenting on the new opening, Neal Bates of Rudy’s, said: “Our very first pizzeria opened in Ancoats back in 2015, so we’re excited to finally be opening our doors in our neighbouring city Salford. Monton has such a vibrant high street and an amazing food and drink scene, so it feels like the perfect place for us. We can’t wait to become part of the community, say ciao to our new neighbours and celebrate our opening.”
