Your new, trusty favourite Italian has arrived – and the location may seem pretty familiar. Taking over Gino D’Acampo’s former My Restaurant at the busy city centre spot, Riva Blu will bring a fresh take on Italian cuisine to the venue, this time, honing in on the Amalfi Coast for its inspiration.
A new concept launched by Individual Restaurants – the chain behind Piccolino’s – Riva Blu brings nautical vibes aplenty, alongside a huge menu of over 60 classic dishes, boasting plenty of Italian seafood dishes, pizzas, and more.
Italian-favourite cocktails such as Bellinis and Aperol Spritz dominate the drinks offering, boasting tons of summery flavours that will, alone, transform you and your taste buds to a warmer climate. For the wine lovers, there’ll also be a fantastic selection of Proseccos, Italian wines and Amari – a classic Italian digestif – which can be enjoyed in the restaurant, at the bar, or outside on the terrace.
Speaking on the launch of Riva Blu, Pasquale Savona, General Manager at Riva Blu, said: “We’re incredibly excited to introduce Riva Blu to Manchester and can’t wait to welcome guests. Riva Blu is set to bring a real taste of ‘la dolce vita’ to the city with a menu bursting with classic Italian favourites and our own signature dishes, all prepared using the finest seasonal ingredients.
“Guests can expect the same warm welcome that Individual Restaurants is known for as our existing dedicated team deliver a truly authentic Italian dining experience. We’re also planning some very special celebrations over the coming months, starting with Valentine’s Day, so look out for more exciting news as the RIVAlution begins!”
Riva Blu can be found at The Corn Exchange 11 Corn Exchange, M4 3TR.
