It’s that time again. BBC’s Pointless is filming their beloved quiz show once more, and you could be involved. Are you really doing tea time right if you haven’t whacked this on to brush up your general knowledge?
Pointless brainiac and host Richard Osman confirmed the news via his newsletter. He said they would be “filming 226 new episodes of Pointless and Pointless Celebrities, starting later this year”.
He also tweeted about the opportunity to be part of the forthcoming series.

The witty post to their website also reads: “Could you trust your mum, brother, housemate, or your partner to help you win big under pressure? We would love to hear from pairs of fun, lively people who think they can take up the Pointless challenge.”
Hopefuls must apply in pairs, and both contestants must be over 18 and a current resident of the United Kingdom. Additionally, applicants are asked to send in a recent video of themselves.
You have until February 1, 2021 to apply, but it is stressed that auditions will begin in the next few weeks, so applicants are encouraged to sign up early. No starting date for recording has been given, but it is thought filming could begin in November.
