Built by Lord Leverhulme, Rivington Terraced Gardens are a tranquil, free-to-visit natural escape sitting on the Rivington Pike. These beautifully landscaped woodlands are filled with hidden paths, caves, structures and lakes – perfect for a peaceful walk or a game of hide and seek! To this day, new features of the garden are being discovered, giving visitors an ever-clearer view of how it once looked. 3. Enjoy watersports on a stunning reservoir
If the treetop escapades leave you hungry for more adventure, then you can get involved in all kinds of watersports on the picturesque reservoir in Rivington.
