Picture this: a lovely sunny day in Manchester, you drop by a taproom for a cheeky pint of local craft beer, and you’re suddenly aware it all feels a bit festival-like. That’ll be a reality come May 13th, as the taprooms making up Piccadilly Beer Trail will be partnering with craft breweries, street food traders and DJs to bring their annual Block Party to Manchester, and they’re all pretty excited about it.
Sureshot Brewing said on social media: “To celebrate our nascent little Beer Triangle (square? rhombus? hexadecagon?) here in Manchester we’re teaming up with @trackbrewingco, @cloudwaterbrew, and @balancebrewing to bring you a whistle-stop tour of Piccadilly’s breweries.”
Taprooms Cloudwater, Balance, Track and Sureshot will be the pillars of the free-to-enter festival, welcoming in the summer months with some delicious craftery.
The collaborations come as follows: Sureshot x Burning Sky – Sureshot will be hosting the magnificent Burning Sky from Sussex, alongside delicious food from Lily’s Indian Vegetarian Cuisine.
Balance x Torn Plant – Balance will be hosting Torn Plant, so you can drink some of the finest mixed ferm and cider too – all under one roof.
Track x Verdant – Track Brewing Co Taproom will be playing host to Cornish legends Verdant, with captain of the ship, Adam Robertson, curating the DJs, plus insane food from the grill by Salford’s Porta Tapas.
Cloudwater x Friends Sour Bar- At Cloudwater you’ll be able to choose from a selection of scintillating sours curated by master connoisseurs Cloudwater, accompanied by food courtesy of the downright delicious Isca Wines – how fancy!
