As Halloween creeps away for another year, it’s now time to welcome in the festive news – sorry, Grinches, Christmas is coming to town. However, shaking things up this Christmas is an out-of-this-world celebration that’s heading to Manchester that combines festive sparkle and space-age all in one. Known as Nova Star, the new intergalactic festive experience is set to land at Sadler’s Yard, home of New Century in the NOMA district, this winter.
Santa has gone intergalactic with a celestial space-age tipi which will be home to a whole galaxy of festive food, shimmering cocktails and ice-cold beer on tap. Visitors can expect a cosmic Christmas and a totally unique experience at Sadler’s Yard in Manchester from November 22.
Far from your typical Bavarian Christmas tipi, New Century’s Nova Star will bring a festive space station to the city, decked out with twinkling stars and shimmering galaxies. Its arrival is set to “capture the imagination of guests from Manchester and beyond”.
And as a popular food hall, New Century will of course be bringing plenty of food and drink offerings to Nova Star. With special festive treats such as ‘Raclette’ on roasties and Cosmos from the cosmos, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. A whole host of festive entertainment will also be on offer providing a brand new Christmas experience for the city.
Louis Paterson, Marketing Manager at New Century, said: “Nova Star is all about ushering in a new age of festive fun to Manchester. Guests will be immersed in all things intergalactic at our special Christmas tipi! Get ready for a Christmas adventure that’s light years ahead of the rest.. we can’t wait to reveal more details soon.”
