It’s been a little over six months since Nell’s opened its dedicated pizza restaurant at Kampus, fleeing the nest for the very first time to have its very own Big Girl home away from the Northern Quarter’s Common. And we won’t lie. We’re among the masses who’ve rocked up on multiple occasions already, stretchy trousers at the ready to inhale one of their epic 22″ pizza pies. But unfortunately for our waistlines, it looks like these stretchy trousers are set to get a *lot* less stretchy.
Opening their first ever ‘Slice Shop’, Nell’s at Kampus will now be serving their whopping pizza slices (which, may I add, are bigger than the average person’s head!) on the go, making it the perfect pitstop after a few drinks in the city.
Open daily from 12 noon, fans of the New York-style pizza place will be able to tuck into an array of their classic pies without having to dine in, with the likes of the OG Cheese, Marinara, Burrata, Mushroom and the fan-favourite Do You Roni, Honey? up for grabs.
Starting at just £2.25 per slice, the new Slice Shop is set to be pretty popular among the lunchtime crowds – thanks to the fact that you no longer need to go inside where you’ll be tempted by a whole 22″ pizza – with slices available up until 10pm Sunday-Thursday and 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, providing a worthy replacement for my usual post-pub doner kebab.
Of course, if you do still fancy their huge 22″ pizza – which is the biggest in Manchester – the main restaurant opens at 12 noon daily. Find them at Nell’s, 20 Minshull Street, Kampus, M1 3EF.
