
Mumford & Sons is set to play a free, intimate gig in Manchester, following on from playing two surprise live shows in London this week. The trio of Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwayne and Ben Lovett that makes up Mumford & Sons will perform at Aviva Studios in Manchester for an exclusive set as part of the Amazon Music City Sessions series, presented by Aviva.
This free show at Aviva Studios will take place on April 2 and offers fans a rare chance to experience Mumford & Sons up close, featuring a mix of new material and fan favourites. For those not there in person, the performance will be streamed live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch.
The gig announcement comes ahead of the release of the band’s fifth album RUSHMERE, which drops on March 28. The band will also be kickstarting their tour, which consists of nine dates across the world with shows in Berlin, Paris, New York, Chicago, and more.
How to get tickets for Mumford & Sons in Manchester
Spaces for the Mumford & Sons gig on April 2 in Manchester are up for grabs as we speak…. and it’s a ballot application only. The general ticket ballot to see Mumford & Sons live from Aviva Studios opens on Thursday 6th March at 10am and closes on Monday 10th March at 10am.
Congratulations if you make it into the free gig, as many undoubtedly will be attempting to do so. If you’re successful in the ballot, you’ll be contacted by March 14.
If you do not receive an email by March 14, your application has not been successful. Attendees must also note that they must be aged 18 or over to attend and that this event will be filmed and livestreamed by Amazon.
