Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre is about to get a whole lot more sparkly: after nearly 20 years in the heart of the city, this iconic brand is reopening with a full store makeover and the UK’s very first launch of the brand’s 2025 Christmas collection – four days ahead of every other store in the country.
Manchester Arndale store reopens with new look and a UK first
The store in question is Lush! It may be September, but it’s tiiiiiiiiime…not so fast, though: Manchester is ready to dive headfirst into autumn with Lush’s Pumpkin Spice drop, the festive launch and a whole new look for the Arndale store.
On opening day, visitors can get their first peek at the city’s biggest-ever Snow Fairy range (fact: Greater Manchester buys 13,600 Snow Fairy bath bombs, and 15,800 bottles of shower gel each year).

All this, plus exclusive gifts, workshops and the debut of a new “Fragrance Greenhouse” featuring autumn, Halloween and Christmas scents, with complimentary fragrance readings so shoppers can find their perfect seasonal match.

David Allinson, Centre Director at Manchester Arndale, said:
“We can’t wait to see Lush’s enhanced store at Manchester Arndale. As one of our longer term occupiers, Lush has been a popular favourite amongst our shoppers over the past 20 years. Its vibrant array of products and amazing promotions throughout the year mean customers continue to come back for more, and we look forward to supporting them with their reopening event.
“This investment by Lush in their space at Manchester Arndale highlights how our brands continue to evolve to meet changing customer needs. It also showcases how leading retailers are choosing Manchester Arndale for their flagship stores to help attract shoppers who visit the centre from across the North West and beyond.”
Lush’s team has also created a Manchester-exclusive Bee tote bag, donating 50% of sales (minus tax) to Real Change MCR in support of local homelessness initiatives.
