The hugely popular Popeyes UK has announced it will be bringing its Louisiana fried chicken to Bolton for the first time, with a new restaurant opening at Bolton Middlebrook Retail Park. Marking its first opening of 2026 and its fourth restaurant across Greater Manchester, Popeyes will be pulling out all the stops, showcasing its New Orleans hospitality with exciting launch day giveaways for locals.
Popeyes has become known for round-the-block queues on opening day across the UK, with fans in Manchester lining up for over 25 hours at the Bury New Road launch to get their first taste of the legendary Chicken Sandwich. To be part of the action in Bolton, the team is advising hungry customers to get down early to avoid missing out on the epic giveaways.
With dine-in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken fans will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Hot Wings, Tenders, and Signature Chicken Wraps.
New Shatter Crunch Savers range
Popeyes is starting 2026 strong with the launch of its new Shatter Crunch Savers range, featuring 28 crave-worthy new menu items starting from just £1.99. The new menu includes the all-new Chicken Cruncher, a Shatter Crunchin’ chicken Tender made from 100% fresh chicken, drizzled with Popeyes smoky Kickback Sauce and nestled in a sweet bun, available for £2.49 or £4.99 as a meal.
All Popeyes chicken is halal certified and marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand-breaded and battered to deliver that world-famous ‘Shatter-Crunch’.

Plans include 86 seats inside, self-service kiosks, four Park & Serve bays and collection points for orders made online.
