Oh, I just can’t wait!
The Lion King sing-along screening of our dreams is coming to Manchester.
On July 13, Disney fans will be able to watch the iconic film in an immersive environment, with free drink flowing throughout the whole screening and bottomless popcorn.
The event will take place at The Mint Lounge in Oldham Street, which will be transformed into a Disney-inspired paradise. And each guest will be treated to a private table with waiter service for the duration of the film, while they belt out those iconic Lion King classics.
For those who don’t know the plot (which is no one, surely) The Lion King tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is to succeed his father, Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands. But as with most Disney films; it’s the music, created by Elton John and Tim Rice, that steals the show.
Fancy dress is highly encouraged, so get crafting because we’re expecting to see a room full of hand-made Timon and Pumbaa costumes.
Tickets are available from Fever and are priced at £30 per person. Click here to get your tickets.
