Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprüngli is set to sweeten Manchester’s retail scene this month with the opening of its 30th UK chocolate shop at the Trafford Centre.
Launching on May 28, the new boutique marks a significant milestone for the brand as it continues to expand its footprint across the UK.

The Trafford Centre location becomes Lindt’s second store in Manchester, joining its existing outlet in the Arndale Centre, and reinforces the city’s growing appeal as a hub for premium retail experiences.
Spanning 1,200 square feet, the new store promises an immersive chocolate experience. At its heart is Lindt’s iconic Pick & Mix station, featuring 34 varieties of chocolates from classic favourites like Marc de Champagne and Giandujotto to more playful options such as Popcorn and Cherry Blossom, alongside exclusive flavours only available in-store.
Beyond its extensive chocolate selection, the shop places a strong emphasis on gifting. Visitors can browse a curated range of presents, complete with personalised touches including custom gift tags and bespoke ribbons, supported by an in-store gifting concierge service.
The opening also coincides with Lindt’s seasonal product launches, including the debut of its Tokyo Style Chocolate range.
Highlights include a matcha and strawberry bar made with ceremonial-grade Chamei Minami matcha, as well as the LINDOR Cherry Blossom truffle, a nod to Japan’s sakura season.
To celebrate the launch, Lindt will be offering giveaways to early visitors. The first 250 customers who spend a minimum of £15 will receive exclusive goodie bags filled with the brand’s signature treats, alongside additional in-store tastings and surprises.
