As the weather has been insanely beautiful of late, one of Manchester’s luxurious hotels has openined its tucked away terrace for the public to enjoy the sunshine, views and delicious drinks. This little suntrap of a terrace located at King Street Townhouse right in the city centre of Manchester will not disappoint thanks to it being south-facing and the chance to take in the stunning cityscape from the hotel’s rooftop.
The King Street Townhouse South Terrace on the sixth floor is usually reserved for guests of the hotel, however, the team has now opened it up to the public – during periods when it isn’t privately booked. So, whether you’re looking for a cocktail or two in the sun over the weekend, or an after work drink it’s a great spot to do so.
Open for walk-ins whenever the south terrace isn’t booked, visitors can enjoy drinks and grazing boards and a lovely private-feeling environment overlooking the city. Those interested should keep an eye on the King Street Townhouse Instagram account weekly, where the team releases days and times when walk-ins are available – then just walk in, park yourself down and enjoy!
Considered one of the best Manchester rooftop bars in terms of the wonderful view, you can drink, dine and relax with friends at King Street Townhouse’s super cosy south-facing terrace. But if you fancy a bigger dose of relaxation, the glam hotel also boasts an incredible spa infinity pool which overlooks the city’s famous clock tower (the view which will be unrestricted come next summer).
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the beer, wine, cocktails and incredible grazing food King Street Townhouse has to offer on their rooftop terrace – and see if you can spot all your favourite places from up there.
