As the weather is set to be glorious over the next week (low 20s, hello!), one of Manchester’s luxurious hotels is opening its tucked away terrace for the public to enjoy the sunshine, views and delicious drinks. This little suntrap of a terrace located at King Street Townhouse right in the city centre of Manchester will not disappoint thanks to it being south-facing and the chance to take in the stunning cityscape from the hotel’s rooftop.
The King Street Townhouse South Terrace on the sixth floor is usually reserved for guests of the hotel, however this coming week it will be open to everyone. So, whether you’re looking for a cocktail or two in the sun on Bank Holiday Monday, or an afterwork drink it’s a great spot to do so.
Open for walk-ins on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday next week, visitors can enjoy drinks and grazing boards on the terrace. You can find the opening times for King Street Townhouse South Terrace below:

Considered one of the best Manchester rooftop bars in terms of the wonderful view, you can drink, dine and relax with friends at King Street Townhouse’s super cosy south-facing terrace. But if you fancy a bigger dose of relaxation, the glam hotel also boasts an incredible spa infinity pool which overlooks the city’s famous clock tower.
The terrace is also the setting for the hotel’s yoga sessions as part of their wellness series, where you can stretch with the city skyline as your backdrop. The one-hour class, run by FORM in Manchester, is suitable for all abilities and is followed by brunch with a smoothie to sip on once you’re done.
