Activity bars are, quite frankly, our bag in Manchester, with pretty much one on every corner – from darts and golf, to video games and ping pong, we can’t get enough of the competitive spirit. However, today sees a new addition to the activity bar circuit in Manchester, but this time at the Trafford Centre, with King Pins opening its flagship at Trafford Palazzo.
The ‘crown jewels of bowling’, the new venue will have a plethora of activities on offer including 15 lanes of Ten Pin bowling and four lanes of Duck Pin bowling (a shorter-laned, faster game of bowling, new to the UK), shuffleboard, ice free curling, air hockey, karaoke booths and arcade games galore for guests of all ages. It will also feature two independent food concessions, a full-service bar and its very own dessert kiosk.
Confirmed to be joining the new flagship site are iconic Manchester pizza pros, PLY, and Asian street food favourites Little Bao Boy, offering an elevated experience with some of Manchester’s best known names in food.
King Pins’ own dessert kiosk ‘Royal Treats‘ will serve a huge selection of sweet snacks, from doughnuts and soft serve ice cream, to endless Pick ‘N’ Mix, while the new eye-catching bar in the venue will serve 20 different beers including from local Salford brewery, Seven Bro7hers, alongside a large variety of cocktails, alcohol-free options and homemade slushies.
James Travis, Brand Manager of King Pins, said: “We’re excited to open the doors and welcome people into King Pins at Trafford Palazzo. The venue has been in the works for a while, and we can’t wait to showcase everything we have on offer, from Ten Pin Bowling and arcade games, to the top-tier food vendors and bar. We don’t call it the Crown Jewels of bowling for nothing.”
