As the world wonders who the next actor to play James Bond will be, Pinewood Studios have dropped some exciting news for super fans of the franchise.
As part of the famous studios’ expansion, the 007 Studios will be opening to the public to drop some super-secret intelligence secrets. I think that calls for a Martini…
Pinewood Studios has been the home to many smash hits, including the latest Bond outing No Time To Die, and the £500 million expansion will give visitors a glimpse into its workings.
In what is being called a “global growth plan” for British film, the studios will undergo a 32,500 square-metre growth, and is set to include a visitor attraction, a training and skills hub alongside fresh production resources.
Paul Golding, chairman of Pinewood Group, said: “The decision allows us to continue our ongoing investment in the Studios and support for the UK film and television industries. We now have the opportunity of creating a world-class training centre and film-inspired visitor attraction.”
Will we get insight into the famous car flip in Casino Royale? A crash course in gadgetry? At least some of those beach shots? That, along with the opening date, is yet to be confirmed, so we’ll just sip on that Martini while we wait…
