Ivy Asia will celebrate Sakura season with a beautiful cherry blossom-inspired installation, dessert and cocktail.
Sakura season marks the full bloom of the cherished cherry blossoms, creating a sight to behold and signifying the start of spring in Japan. And the team at Ivy Asia, the opulent restaurant and bar situated on the second floor of The Ivy Spinningfields, will be celebrating Sakura Season in style, by creating a show-stopping installation as well as a delicious blossom-inspired dessert and cocktail.
From Wednesday (March 20) to April 22, guests of Ivy Asia will be able to enjoy a beautiful installation of pink cherry blossoms which will adorn the entrance, bar and centre of the restaurant. And an indulgent cherry blossom dessert will also be available until April 14 featuring sweet cherry parfait with candy floss and petals.
The bar team will also be whipping up a tantalising cocktail, The Sakura, which will feature Hibiki Harmony, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, Martini Reserva Rubino, a dash of Peychaud’s Bitters. And be garnished with cherries, edible flowers and finished with a spritz of cherry blossom aromatics. Fancy!
Ivy Asia, exclusive to Manchester, serves Asian-inspired cocktails alongside sharing plates such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki, and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing. The entire floor is illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor, set against a striking antique gold mirrored bar, gold-gilt ceiling and luxurious Asian fabrics.
