Following on from Hotel Chocolat opening a Velvetiser Cafe in Bury earlier this month, another has arrived in the region but this time right in the centre of Manchester. The new opening from Hotel Chocolat marks the first Velvetiser Cafe in Manchester where customers can not only shop the luxury chocolatier’s range of sweet treats, but also sit in to enjoy the iconic Velvetised drinking chocolate alongside other hot drinks and Manchester-exclusive sundaes.

Located within a 7,288sq ft unit on the Cross Street side of Manchester Arndale, Hotel Chocolat’s new flagship Velvetiser Cafe in Manchester can only be described as a chocolate lover’s paradise. With a massive Wall of Chocolate featuring rows upon rows of Selectors with flavours ranging from Apple Strudel to Tiramisu and even three forever-flowing taps of molten chocolate (dark, milk and white) to fill Hotel Chocolat’s choc shots or drizzle on pastries.

But that’s not all. The Hotel Chocolat cafe has a wall dedicated to Velvetiser drinking chocolate sachets in an assortment of flavours, allowing you to mix and match to create your very own personalised box. Plus, you can also indulge in a wide range of Velvetised flavours served hot, over ice, or as a Choc Shake.

The drinks at the Velvetiser Cafe can be tailored with dairy milk or plant-based alternatives, along with an array of delicious toppings like cocoa whip, chocolate batons, dunking biscuits, shortbread, and of course, more chocolate, for that perfect personal touch. You’ll also find sundaes exclusive to Manchester on the menu, each one inspired by some of the chocolatier’s most popular chocolates, such as Billionaire’s Shortbread and Eton Mess.

Adding to the chocolate experience, the Hotel Chocolat team can also help customers find their chocolate ‘Love Match’ based on their preferred flavour profiles including smooth pralines, patisserie-inspired flavours or something tipsy which packs a punch.
The Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser Cafe can be found next to Joe & The Juice and HÔP Vietnamese on Cross Street in Manchester.
