We love a food hall/market situation here in Manchester, and we’ve got some of the best around. Now, Manchester’s vibrant independent food and retail hub, Hatch, is launching a brand new breakfast menu as the site prepares to kickstart the weekends with an array of new morning treats served up by Hatch’s independent traders.
Starting on August 19, Hatch will be rising and shining at the earlier hour of 10am every Saturday and Sunday, providing a brand new independent weekend breakfast and brunching haven.
With their own signature twist on breakfast, the traders have curated a globally-inspired feast to kick off the weekend in heavenly gastronomic style. The participating traders include:
- Block Steak Shop – Hearty and protein-packed start to the day with steak and eggs on sourdough toast served up with avocado and chimichurri. Plus, there’s delicious veggie and vegan options.
-
Parmogeddon – The signature chicken tenders are served on deep fried French toast with crispy bacon and hot honey for the mother of all breakfasts (and hangover cures).
-
House of Habesha – Bringing a whole feast of East African flavours to the breakfast table with five dishes on the menu, including Habesha’s twist on a full English.
-
Herbivorous – For the plant-loving foodies, Herbivorous has created an extra special menu of nourishing and creative plant-based breakfast options including a range of vegan sausage sandwiches and breakfast wraps as well as the incredible Big Brunch Burger and Herbi’s homemade Tofu Scramble Bagel.
-
Bondi Bowls – Taking inspiration from down under, Bondi Bowls has created a selection of fresh and vibrant vegan breakfast bowls that transport you to the beaches of Australia.
-
T’arricrii – Breaking fast the Sicilian way, T’arricrii has created a menu of breakfast focaccia sandwiches.
-
Rio Mex – Bringing an incredible fusion of Mexican and Brazilian to breakfast, Rio Mex offers a breakfast burrito and tacos as well as a Mexican Breakfast Bowl, classic Mexican brunch dish Huevos Rancheros and buttermilk pancakes.
The new Hatch morning experience is rounded off with a new collection of breakfast cocktails served at the Hatch Bar, alongside soft drinks, coffee, tea, and a selection of pastries and cakes courtesy of ASAP Coffee.
Whether it’s a flavour-filled hangover cure, a traditional big breakfast or something refreshing to nourish mind and body, Hatch’s new breakfast destination is the new place to escape for a morning feast and catch up.
