Kids and grown-ups love it so, and now Manchester can experience the happy world of HARIBO on another level, as the sweet brand has announced plans to open a new retail store in Manchester – marking the confectionery company’s 13th location in the UK. Located inside the North West’s largest shopping centre, The Trafford Centre, the HARIBO store will be the confectionery brand’s third retail opening this year.
Opening day at HARIBO Trafford Centre store
On December 5 at 10am, HARIBO will open the doors to a brand-new store at Manchester’s Trafford Centre, perfectly timed for Christmas shoppers seeking sweet treats and gifts for loved ones. Not wanting to miss out on the fun, HARIBO’s iconic mascot, Goldbear, will join the celebrations to take part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony!

Other activities shoppers can expect include free goody bags for the first 75 customers who buy a festive treat. Throughout the first week, lucky HARIBO fans will also be selected to receive random goodies as a celebration of the store opening.
The Manchester HARIBO store will be home to familiar favourites, new products and international varieties
Allowing Manchester fans to well and truly experience being a kid in a sweet shop, the HARIBO store will feature a delicious selection of all HARIBO treats, from familiar favourites like Starmix and Tangfastics to exciting new products such as Nostalgix and Alienauts. Visitors will also be able to enjoy international varieties of HARIBO, whether that’s HARIBO Favoritos and Watermelon from Spain, HARIBO Dragibus and Tagada from France, or HARIBO liquorice Schnecken from Germany.
The store also offers a wide array of HARIBO’s halal, vegan, and reduced-sugar products. For the festive season, popular Christmas treats like Merry Mix and Elf Surprises will be available, along with other stocking fillers.

A ‘Pick Your Mix’ station and exclusive HARIBO merchandise

And in addition to the HARIBO and MAOAM sweets, the store will feature exclusive HARIBO merchandise, such as plushies, stationery, candles and more.
