It’s sod law, isn’t it. We live in a region notorious for its grey skies and ample bouts of rain, so when the glorious sunshine does come, it’s all a bit too much for us. But imagine surviving this heat with a big old fur coat on like our poor little pooches. Helping us beat the heat alongside our four-legged friends, Manchester’s Frurt is serving up tasty treats not only for us, but for our beloved dogs, too, helping them to cool down when the summer occasionally rears its head.
Known for their delicious frozen yoghurt, guests can make their own perfect pot, thanks to an endless array of toppings available at the counter. Lower in calories than your typical tub of ice cream, Frurt’s frozen yoghurt is available in a ton of different flavours, from white chocolate and black vanilla to matcha and blueberry cheesecake.
There are tons of toppings to choose from, too, depending on your taste, including chocolate buttons and sprinkles, jelly sweets and classic nuts.
For the pups, expect just as much of a focus on flavour, with delicious dairy-free concoctions made with mango and lemon, and plenty of other fruity treats such as bananas that are perfect for the pooches.
Frurt boasts five locations across Manchester, including two city-centre stores and three self-serve stores in Prestwich, Bolton and Blackburn. Find them at 41 Whitworth Street West, M1 5BD | 63 Peter Street, M2 5PB.
