Parklife is coming to town once again, and with Manchester’s biggest festival comes all sorts of events and novelty bits to enjoy around town. In that vein, on Sunday 15 June, a party which promises to be an unmissable vibe is coming to Manchester on top of an open top bus complete with an all-star DJ line-up, and those going to Parklife can hitch a ride.
Performing on one of the journeys on the SLICE XC-XPRESS, DJ, rapper and music producer Tom Zanetti. Best known for his platinum selling records Darlin and You Want Me and famed for his big energy and stage presence, Tom Zanetti’s career goes beyond music featuring on hit shows such as ‘Celebs Go Dating’ alongside Joey Essex and constantly in the celebrity spotlight.
Joining Tom on the line-up, one of the biggest selling UK dance acts of the 90s, N-Trance. Set You Free, Stayin’ Alive, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy and Forever are just a few of the renowned top ten hits that first catapulted them to fame over two decades ago – DJ Junior K and MC B will be bringing the party to the top deck for one of the journeys.
With three journeys operating through the day, Manchester’s legendary event collective, Habitat, will be powering one of the parties. Hosted by MC Faro and with DJs AK Gramm and Amber Rose playing their usual mix of Dancehall, Amapiano, afrobeat, house music, they’re going to bring their sing-a-long party vibes to passengers.

Keeping the bus bouncing, Manchester’s notorious party DJ, G2. G2’s been powering parties in Manchester since the 00s and DJ’d with the best of them. Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Mario, Mike Skinner – you name it, if he hasn’t DJ’d for them, or they haven’t come to one of his parties, he’s partied with them, and they’ve barely come out alive.

The SLICE XC-XPRESS will operate three journeys, each with a different headline act, but which headliner you get for your journey will be a surprise. Stationed by Trading Route at St Johns, the bus will complete a whistle-stop tour calling by Heaton Park for anyone attending Parklife to get off before returning back to Trading Route.
