Probably the biggest news for Manchester last year was that finally the Gallagher brothers were getting the band back together, announcing a 2025 Oasis reunion tour – just in case you forgot. The scramble for tickets was, quite frankly, ridiculous, leaving plenty of Mancs without tickets for the Heaton Park dates – but now, rejoice, because the official Oasis Heaton Park afterparties have been announced, taking place at the iconic New Century Hall.
After the Oasis gigs on Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Saturday 19 July, official afterparties will take place at New Century Hall, allowing both those lucky enough to have been to the gigs, and the majority who missed out, to come together in celebration of the occasion – they’re sure to be three very special nights.
An iconic occasion deserves an iconic afterparty line-up, so coming to entertain the Manchester crowds at the New Century Oasis afterparties are the likes of Happy Mondays mover and shaker Bez, Inspiral Carpets’ Clint Boon, Mani from The Stone Roses, Tin Tin (New Order Tour DJ), Col White (Vinyl Revival) and Ricco (Creamfields) all DJing from 11pm – so attendees are in for an absolute Manc treat!
The beautiful New Century Hall is the perfect place to hold these massive Oasis afterparties, not only because of its amazing interiors and proximity to Manchester Victoria station and Shudehill, but because of its significant history of hosting incredible music events. From hosting Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and The Kinks, to performances from the amazing Tina Turner, and later being home to characteristically Manc acid house gigs, New Century Hall is as important to Manchester’s music history as Oasis themselves.
New Century Hall was recently refurbished, too, making it shiny and new for the Oasis afterparties, plus, given the new Sadler’s Yard neighbourhood that has been created around it since, partygoers can hit up a number of spots before letting their hair down, including Sadler’s Cat pub and New Century’s own food hall. Did someone say perfect summer day?
Due to kick off in Cardiff on Friday 4 July, the ‘Oasis Live ’25’ reunion tour sees a long-run of UK dates as their only shows in Europe this year, before the band heads to stadiums across North America, South America, Australia and Asia.
