The Met Office is predicting temperatures of between 19 and 21°C this bank holiday weekend.
Britain is set to bask in warm sunshine over the Easter weekend, with the Met Office predicting a steady rise in temperatures following this morning’s chilly start.
A spokesman for the Met Office said cloud will move in this afternoon following this morning’s sunny but chilly start, but it will stay dry and bright with maximum temperatures of 14 °C. Tuesday will be mostly grey, overcast and dry the spokesman said but patchy rain may move into the west by the mid-afternoon, again with maximum temperatures of 14 °C.
However, from Wednesday things will be dry and bright with plenty of sunny spells that will see the weather turn from warm to very warm by Friday. Meteorologists predicting temperature will rise to the high teens and possibly even the low twenties, which is well above average for this time of year. While our friends in Menorca can expect highs of a mere 17 °C.
