Nothing screams summer more than gorgeous expanses of sunflowers, and beer gardens, obviously, but mostly sunflowers. As soon as those golden florals rear their heads, everything feels better, and luckily for us, nearby Dunham Massey boasts potentially the best sunflower field around, so you can frolick to your heart’s content.
With plenty of opportunities for photos and a floral scavenger hunt for children, Dunham Massey sunflower field provides a great day out for all the family during the summer holidays, and you can even purchase flowers from that very field on your visit.

New for 2025, there’s also a wildflower meadow to enjoy, and entry gets you access to this alongside the sunflower field. Enjoy hoards of beautiful colours, scents and wildlife on a much-needed walk through the field, with not only a variety of wildflowers, but 10 different varieties of sunflowers, opening your eyes to rarely-seen forms of this beautiful bloom.
