Pride is always a huge event in Manchester, with events going on all around the city over August bank holiday weekend, turning well and truly multicoloured. Adding to the roster this year is a series of Pride parties at food, drink and destination hub Ducie Street Warehouse, with some sickening hosts lined up for their ‘Freedom To Be‘ sessions including legendary drag queen Jodie Harsh.
Starting the party early on Thursday 24 August, the warehouse will welcome a live vocal and piano performance from Chevone S Duo, with Cork & Canvas also returning to the warehouse for another creative session where guests can ‘Paint Your Own Pride Parade Banner‘ in preparation for the weekend parade. Ticket price starts from £25 and available to book here.
Headlining on Friday 25 August, the much-loved and acclaimed DJ and Drag Queen Jodie Harsh will take over the deck in the lounge. She will be joined by DJ Mike Slade, as well as gogo dancers and live percussion – expect the best of House, Disco, Pop, and high energy performances to get everyone in the Pride spirit. Free tickets available to book here.
The Pride ‘Club Kids Disco‘ Brunch will take centre stage on Saturday 26 August as diners are invited to tuck into mouth-watering dishes, bottomless drinks, and enjoy a special DJ set and live performances. On Sunday 27 August, the restaurant will be serving their award-winning Sunday Roast, and on Monday 28 August, an all-day Bloody Mary brunch will be available.
Across the whole weekend, further DJ sets from the finest LGBTQIA+ local talents and beyond will take over the system at the terrace and in the lounge, and a special Pride menu will also be available across the week.
