Manchester is used to having the biggest names in music play in the city, but not many come much more anticipated than Canadian superstar Drake, who has just announced four new UK dates for his upcoming world tour, including two at Co-op Live in Manchester.
Five-time Grammy-award-winning and multi-platinum global artist Drake returns to the UK for the first time in six years, bringing the ‘$ome $pecial $hows 4 UK‘ tour to Manchester on 25th and 26th July 2025. The Co-op Live website has already briefly crashed, so you can imagine pickings are slim for tickets – so act fast!
Although he really needs no introduction, we’re going to introduce Drake anyway. Most widely known for his early 2010s collaborations with the likes of Rihanna, including What’s My Name? and Take Care, Drake is the true meaning of ‘superstar’. Despite rifts with other rappers and musicians over the years, his stardom has never faltered, and with albums like ‘More Life‘ and ‘Views‘ giving us hits such as One Dance, Passionfruit and Hotline Bling, who are we to argue?
The ‘$ome $pecial $hows 4 UK’ tour is set to reiterate Drake’s musical power, and will showcase his brand new album ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U‘, which no doubt is set to create some absolute bangers of the future.
Hitting Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on July 20th and 21st, Drake and long term collaborator and support PARTYNEXTDOOR then move to Manchester, playing Co-Op Live on July 25th and 26th. The tour will continue with stops across Munich, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and more before wrapping up on September 23rd in Hamburg, Germany at Barclays Arena – quite the hefty run of some of the biggest arenas in Europe.
