The whole country is up in arms since Oasis actually announced their reunion (we can’t believe we’re writing these words), and the celebrations don’t seem to be ending any time soon. If there’s one place we can rely on to keep the sunshiiiineee going, it’s the Definitely Maybe bar in Bolton, and they’re throwing one heck of a party for Oasis fans this Friday.
The party aims to be a gift to customers to give something back with one massive (affordable) celebration, with Saturday set to be an expensive day for many when tickets go on sale for next year’s Oasis tour. Definitely Maybe are also keen to point out that the party will be for Oasis fans only, and every person to walk through the door must be wearing some form of Oasis memorabilia to gain entry − hats, t-shirts and anything with the classic Oasis logo emblazoned on it will be acceptable.
Both floors will be open for maximum partying, so no interactive darts or games will be available, with a DJ and live music from Jack Bennett playing all Oasis, their influences and those they have influenced for a supersonic night.
All standard drinks will be an impressive £1 until 1am (saving you some dosh for the morning after), although shots, Champagne and cocktails aren’t included. The bar asks visitors to be patient and kind with staff on this big celebratory night for them too − but this will surely be easy with all the good vibes going around.
The bar says: “A special day deserves a special night! […] Bring your singing voices and set your alarms for Saturday morning”.
