80s icon Cyndi Lauper has announced UK and EU dates for her ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour‘, with a stop-off in Manchester to say goodbye. The colossal tour will head to Europe next February, marking Lauper’s first major run in a decade, with shows in Glasgow, Manchester, London, Birmingham, and Belfast before continuing onto Budapest, Lodz, Prague, Berlin, Dusseldorf and Paris.
Known for astronomical hits including Time After Time, True Colours, and of course, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Cyndi Lauper has had an incredible career, and the 76-year-old is still going strong. Going out on a high, the ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ tour will see Cyndi give air to some of her biggest hits, no doubt getting the 23,500 capacity Co-op Live in Manchester grooving on Sunday 9 February, 2025.
Throughout the tour, Lauper will be joined by special guests to be revealed at a later date. The announcement comes off the heels of the North American Farewell tour news announced earlier this month and follows the release of LET THE CANARY SING, a feature-length documentary film that explores Lauper’s extraordinary life and career.
