Manchester’s favourite sons are coming home. Last week, indie icons Courteeners announced a huge one-off headline show for next year at Wythenshawe Park, marking one of next summer’s biggest live music moments.
Following a string of sold-out arena shows and major festival appearances, the band will return to South Manchester for a special standalone concert in the park’s leafy surroundings. Expect anthems, nostalgia, and the kind of euphoric crowd only Courteeners can command.
And that’s not all – the support line-up is a dream for indie fans. The Vaccines will perform their beloved debut album ‘What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?’ in full, joined by Merseyside legends The Coral, rising stars Getdown Services, and buzzy newcomers Girl In The Year Above.
When and where will the show take place?
Courteeners will perform live at Wythenshawe Park, South Manchester, on Saturday August 29 2026 as part of the city’s Live From Wythenshawe Park summer concert series.
Who’s on the line-up?
Courteeners will be joined by an exciting supporting line-up of top British acts:
The Vaccines, The Coral, Getdown Services, Girl In The Year Above.
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday October 24 2025 and will be available here.
Fans are encouraged to act fast, as previous Courteeners shows have sold out within minutes. In true community spirit, £1 from every ticket will be donated to the Music Venue Trust – a charity dedicated to protecting and sustaining grassroots music spaces across the UK.
What are the event timings?
According to previous Live From Wythenshawe Park shows, gates typically open around 4pm, with performances running until the 11pm curfew. Full running times will be released closer to the event date.
