If you’ve been walking around Manchester in the past week or so, you may have noticed some new posters plastered around the place, depicting a neon cowboy hat and the question “Manchester, ya’ll ready?“. As you can imagine, this piqued our interest, and it has now come to light that the renowned country music festival Country to Country is set to be held in Manchester in 2027.
The biggest country festival in Europe is coming to Manchester’s AO Arena in March 2027, promising to bring with it the biggest names in the genre. This year’s festival is currently taking place in London, Glasgow and Belfast, with huge headliners including Keith Urban, Zach Top, Drake Milligan and Alana Springsteen – no relation to Bruce.
Why Manchester?
Manchester is the perfect spot for Country to Country festival, being such a hub for music in its own right, whilst being a great location geographically for UK fans to converge. AO Arena provides a huge venue to hold the thousands of line-dancing, rootin’, tootin’ festival-goers, and has already proved its prowess on the world stage.
The London edition also includes festival stages within the grounds of the O2, bringing a real festival energy and allowing several musicians to be playing at once. This could be emulated in Manchester, with spots like Cathedral Gardens and Angel Meadow just around the corner – so we’ll have to wait and see.
