For one weekend only, embark on a cocktail journey through rooms teeming with immersive experiences, drinks lead entertainment and cutting edge cocktails.
Cocktail lovers are invited to Viadux in Manchester’s Albion Street on October 11 and 12 for a festival like no other. Perfect for aficionados and the cocktail curious, Cocktails in the City will give guests the opportunity to discover some of the city’s most exciting and exclusive bars, where Manchester’s most creative bartenders will be serving the finest drinks, all under one roof.
Guests will be able to sip their way through show-stopping cocktails, discover hidden rooms, and witness Manchester’s cocktail making elite in action as each bar competes to be crowned best bar.
The annual event will feature secret speakeasies such as Speak in Code, The Washhouse and Wood & Company, as well as familiar favourites, The Alchemist, Tattu, The Botanist, all washed down with new openings 7 Sins, Dishroom and 186, a new bar that has yet to even open its doors, along with 18 of the city’s leading venues.
There will also be a host of interactive tasting experiences Alongside the Tasting Rooms, Cocktails in the City’s travelling immersive drinks experience, including the chance to get inked by Tattu’s
travelling tattoo artist, enter Flight Club’s epic darts competitions and play a hand of cards to
choose your cocktail with The Washhouse.
And if that’s not exciting enough, the absinthe bus will also be stopping by! Guests will be invited aboard the La Fee Absinthe Bus, which will be serving pop-up cocktails favoured by the likes of Johnny Depp and Dita Von Teese. Visitors will be able to sip on vibrant, delicious fizz and La Fee cocktails mixed up by the wizards at Arcane. While the green fairy whisks them away to the streets of 1920s Paris, where morals were loose and La Belle Epoque reigned king.
For the first time, Cocktails in the City has pulled together the finest of the city’s street food
providers to bring you the night market, the perfect pairing to delicious cocktails. Showcasing
some of the city’s hottest talent including the highly acclaimed Slurp, Crackle & Pop and
nominated street food vendor of the year Wholesome Junkies.
There will also be a dedicated champagne bar, staffed solely by female bartenders.

“In collaboration with Stylist Magazine, this year will see the first outing of our Stylist Loves bar
where we bring three of Manchester’s most influential female bartenders to serve up three
delicious Laurent-Perrier champagne cocktails, with guest shifts from Agnes Nemeth of Tattu,
Melike Sahin of Grand Pacific and Carmel Healy of Wilderness Bar + Kitchen.”
