You’ve probably heard of Cibo by now as that restaurant that serves that pasta dish made in a giant wheel of cheese. They’ve become a local internet sensation based on this particular dish alone – the Penne Reggiano – and now, guests can enjoy it as part of their new bottomless brunch.
Taking place at their relatively new Great Northern restaurant, the new menu offers three courses of spectacular Italian cuisine as part of the deal, in which guests can tuck into an array of Cibo classics with two menus to choose from: the Original, and the Premium.
Naturally, it’s the Premium menu that’s caught our eyes, especially, offering stunning dishes such as their famous Penne Reggiano, grilled salmon, salami calzone and buttery egg ravioli – all paired with free-flowing drinks for a whole 1.5 hours. Drinks on offer include Mimosas, prosecco and two delicious cocktails, such as Mangiami; their vodka, bubblegum and strawberry combo and Bevimi; a dark rum cocktail infused with mango and passionfruit.
On the equally-as-exciting Original menu, guests can expect crowd-pleasing mains such as the Prosciutto e Funghi pizza, chicken baked in a creamy mushroom sauce, truffle oil risotto and the classic spaghetti carbonara. Perfetta!
To finish off, expect the likes of Creme Brulee, Panacotta and Tiramisu, with starters also included in the three-course feast. If you have room for more, expect a lengthy choice of tasty sides for just £4 extra per dish, including their mouthwatering rosemary potatoes.
