Although it’s technically still summer, we’re actually looking forward to Christmas, and we can’t get enough of those cosy Christmas market vibes. Even though we do have a world-renowned Christmas market right here in Manchester, sometimes we just need to exit the country to get those Yuletide feels, and now Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have released details of their biggest and best Christmas market flights programme ever.
Customers and independent travel agents are now able to book festive flights and trips for winter 25/26 to hit some of Europe’s best Christmas market examples, from all 12 of their UK airports for the very first time, including from Manchester. In response to strong demand for Christmas Market getaways, the airline has launched their largest Christmas markets programme to date, with eight new Christmas market routes and scheduled services and trips on sale for the first time from new UK airport base Bournemouth Airport, too.
Eight popular Christmas market destinations are on sale for winter 25/26 with Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks: Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Krakow, Prague and Vienna. With over 250,000 seats on sale, Jet2 is expecting huge demand from customers booking a Christmas market break in a magical winter wonderland.
The significantly expanded programme features 50 Christmas Market routes in total, eight of which are new routes, which are as follows:
- Belfast International to Vienna
- Bournemouth to Prague
- Bournemouth to Vienna
- East Midlands to Berlin
- Glasgow to Budapest
- Liverpool John Lennon to Vienna
- Newcastle International to Gdansk
- London Stansted to Krakow
As well as the new routes, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks are also offering additional capacity to other popular festive favourites from Birmingham and Manchester Airports in winter 25/26. Additional services will operate to Budapest and Prague from Birmingham Airport and to Budapest, Krakow, Prague and Vienna from Manchester Airport.
Additions to Manchester Airport’s schedule include:
- Mini-series of flights and breaks to Berlin with two weekly flights (Monday and Friday) from 28 November 2025 to 5 January 2026 – includes a season extension to include New Year.
- Mini-series of flights and breaks to Cologne from 28 November 2025 to 2 January 2026.
- Mini-series of flights and breaks to Gdansk with two weekly flights (Monday and Friday) from 28 November to 22 December 2025.
- In addition, extra scheduled services have been added to Budapest, Krakow, Prague and Vienna next winter, offering plenty of opportunity for customers to experience a Christmas market in one of these destinations.
