This Manchester Bar Offers ‘Hot Desks’ With Free Beer For People Bored Of Working From Home

By Laura Rogan

Fancy a change of scenery?

While working from home has been, by far, one of the (very) few highlights of 2020 – sometimes, a change of scenery is exactly what the doctor ordered. And for us, that dream backdrop is the pub.

Making remote workers dreams come true all over the UK, BrewDog launched an innovative Desk Dog scheme just last year – and it’s never been more of a lifesaver than it is right now. Revolutionising the 9-5 and injecting a little bit of the social element that’s been missing from many of our working lives in recent months, the much-loved bar allows digital workers to pitch up with their laptops for the day – with unlimited coffee to keep you going.

Not only that, but hot deskers will also benefit from free Wifi all day long, and a free pint of Punk IPA at the end of the day, too – for just £7 per day, may I add.

Both Manchester bars currently participate in the Desk Dog scheme, with guests able to book a spot from open until 4pm Monday-Friday. And if you fancy making a month of it, packages cost just £70 – so you’ll bag yourself a saving by booking out the entire month.

Pre-booking is preferred for all Dog Desks, however, some walk-ins may be available.

BrewDog currently has two sites in Manchester city centre, which can be found at Scottish Mutual House, 35 Peter St, M2 5BG and 144 Oxford Rd, M13 9GP.
