Are you more of a crisp inhaler than a crisp picker? Do you ever finish a packet of the crunchy snacks and think you could eat more? Well, this bottomless crunch menu could be exactly what you’re looking for.
That’s right. You can crunch away on unlimited packets of crisps as a pub group with venues in Manchester and across the UK has launched a bottomless crunch offering. Shaking up the classic bottomless brunch and giving it some well…crunch, pub goers can snaffle as many crisps as they like within 90 minutes, or the duration of a typical football match. Sadly no extra time on those crisps, though – not that you may need it.
There’s nothing quite like opening a bag of crisps all the way to share on a pub table with your mates, and in the case of the bottomless crunch, you can keep that British tradition going and the crisps flowing.
For just £5 per person or £12 for a table of four, you can tuck into 90 minutes of unlimited Walkers crisps – salt and vinegar, cheese and onion or ready salted, whatever takes your fancy. Add in a TV screen showing the Euros, pints and limited edition shots (such as Southgate Slammers) into the equation and you’re talking a cracking line-up.
The bottomless crunch menu has been launched by Craft Union Pubs, who manage pubs in and around Manchester such as the White Lion on Liverpool Road, the iconic Unicorn in the Northern Quarter (throw in some karaoke here too) and Turing Tap on Oxford Road. The pub group also has venues in Levenshulme, Droylsden, Didsbury, Prestwich, Sale and further afield.
If you were looking for a way to make the Euro matches a bit more interesting, why not challenge your mates to crisps eating competition? How many packets do you think you could eat in 90 minutes?
The Bottomless Crunch offering is available at Craft Union Pubs until July 14 when the Euros 2024 tournament finishes.
