Those looking to pick their own fruits and flowers in the field can do so based on the time of year, with options like tulips in the spring, strawberries and raspberries in the summer, sunflowers in August, pumpkins in the autumn in October and Christmas trees. The pumpkin patch is also an extremely popular attraction in the lead-up to Halloween, with plenty of visitors enjoying a little family day out into the countryside.
Guests can explore the farm while picking their own fruits, vegetables and flowers, and are advised not to eat anything straight from the field without it being washed. As the spring season is upon us, guests can now pick their own tulips on the farm making for a wholesome family day out during April and May.
Early access before tulip-picking season
This April, visitors can book early bird tickets before the tulip-picking season begins. This will provide guests the opportunity to wander through the tulip patch without picking any flowers, perfect for those spring photoshoots. This will be sometime in April, with a limited number of tickets available. You will have to book in advance on they come out here.
Next up after the tulips will be pick-your-own strawberries and raspberries, with no exact dates confirmed yet. What’s more, guests are always advised to check in advance before making the trip, as sometimes the field is closed due to weather conditions. Visitors should also take note that dogs are not allowed onto the field, but the tearoom is dog-friendly.
