Think you can take on the challenge?
Arriving just this summer, Wild Shore Delamere has a brand new feature – and it’s the perfect activity for this glorious summer sun.
Named Aqua Chimp, the new course has been considered a “world’s first”, combining a tree-top style adventure with tight ropes, zip lines and obstacles with a huge lake.
Situated at the Delamere Lake Sailing and Holiday Park, the brand new attraction is incredibly unique and is suitable for both adults and kids (aged 8+) to take part in. Featuring rope swings and ziplines with no safety harnesses, guests are at risk of falling in at any given moment – which naturally, is part of the fun.
There are three runs to match varying abilities, coloured red, green and blue to keep you on the right course for the duration. Guests must be able to swim 25m, and there’s also a height restriction in place of 1.2m for safety.
Tim Woodhead of Wild Shore has said of the new addition: “It is the world’s first Aqua Chimp, it is based on a fixed course that is very similar at one of our parks in Edinburgh. Aqua Chimp is extremely unique. It is mega easy to socially distance on too – which is great during these strange Covid times.”
Sessions cost just £20pp lasting for 50 minutes, with kit hire included – all guests need to bring with them is their swimmers, a towel and a pair of closed-toe shoes that they don’t mind getting wet. To find out more about Aqua Chimp, head on over to their website here.
