Following England’s victory against Switzerland beating them 5-3 on penalties in the quarter final match of the Euros, AO Arena will once again be teaming up with Manchester’s immersive football fan zone experience, Road to Victory for the next stage. The semi-final match which will see England take on the Netherlands will be shown inside the venue, complete with high-end production, and marking the UK’s biggest screening of the tournament.
From Saturday 6th July, AO Arena began to show all England games on the big screen, including their quarter final match against Switzerland, and will screen their next match on Wednesday 10th July. Road to Victory promises a unique experience for fans, combining high-scale production with interactive technology and will see the AO Arena transformed into a fully immersive football experience, complete with beer pong, penalty shoot out and table football areas, all to be enjoyed with discounted pints.
Road to Victory has been running an immersive fan zone experience at Diecast since England’s first match of the tournament on June 16 for over 18’s, which will remain open throughout the summer. This new addition to the Road to Victory roster of venues marks Europe’s biggest fan park and a brand first as the first Road to Victory fanzone that will be suitable for all ages.
AO Arena’s 2024 addition, a luxury restaurant and bar, The Mezz, will be turned into a family zone, equipped with kids entertainment including face painting and sign making, creating an inclusive and enjoyable experience for little ones. And of course, no AO Arena experience would be complete without live entertainment, by choosing to watch the Euros at AO, guests also get the bonus of a half time show including live performances and interactive games before and after the match.
