Manchester is a bit of a shopping hotspot, and just the day after massive fashion spot Urban Outfitters announced the opening of its second Manchester store, another retail offering is not far behind. Anthropologie, the global lifestyle brand known for its curated mix of apparel, accessories, homeware, and unique store experiences, has now officially opened its newest UK location at the Royal Exchange, Manchester – and we couldn’t be more excited.
Following the upcoming openings in Liverpool and Glasgow, the Manchester store marks the next step in Anthropologie’s growing presence in the North. Spanning 5,261 square feet – 3,621 of which is trading space – the Manchester store is thoughtfully designed to embody the heritage of the historic Royal Exchange building, while introducing Anthropologie’s signature aesthetic.
The store showcases home, accessories and clothing including Anthropologie’s own-label fashion collections, Maeve, Pilcro and Daily Practice, alongside a curated selection of popular womenswear brands.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, the opening has created 20 new jobs across roles including Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Visual Coordinator, and Display Coordinator, providing exciting opportunities for Manchester’s retail talent.
