Since Fontaines D.C. literally just announced their autumn 2026 tour, during which they’ll play Manchester’s AO Arena, we didn’t think we’d be hearing from them again so soon – but we were very wrong. Now, the lads from the Emerald Isle are set to play five enormous outdoor gigs across the UK next summer, including Manchester’s biggest park – Heaton Park.
Fontaines D.C. will play their biggest UK headline shows next year, hitting Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, St. James’ Park in Newcastle, Glasgow Green, and London Stadium, in addition to their July 3rd date at Heaton Park in Manchester. These will be in addition to the already announced two nights at Slane Castle, Ireland in June 2027.
After huge success with 2024 album ‘Romance‘, Fontaines D.C. have been catapulted into the limelight, with songs like Favourite, Starburster and It’s Amazing to be Young on the top of playlists the world over. The band were also heavily featured on the soundtrack to 2025’s House of Guinness – much of which happened to be filmed in Manchester – and won a BRIT Award for International Group of the Year at this year’s Manchester ceremony.
The 2027 tour will showcase their upcoming album ‘Dopamine Chamber‘, with the inevitable addition of those classic tunes we all long to hear in the fields of Heaton Park.
Supporting Fontaines will be the inimitable Little Simz, and good mates Viagra Boys, set to make each and every gig that bit more special.
