Treat yourself to some early morning yoga above the clouds.
Mental health in the workplace is a big issue in today’s society. The rat race seems to have become a marathon and long hours, unattainable targets and stress have become the norm.
But on May 15, 20 Stories in Manchester’s Spinningfields will attempt to provide a bit of much-needed respite from the stresses at work with an event aimed at improving workplace wellness.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, the restaurant is teaming up with Holistic Manchester for a morning of wellness and relaxation. The event will begin with a wellbeing talk, followed by chair yoga, meditation and an open forum to discuss all things work and stress-related, finished off with a light healthy breakfast prepared by the 20 Stories kitchen.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to 20 Stories’ chosen charity of the month, Hospitality Action. The charity offers vital assistance to all those who work, or have worked within hospitality in the UK and who find themselves in crisis.
Tickets are priced at £15 and are available from the 20 Stories website.
