Manchester Will Host Its First Wellness Festival This Weekend

In a world where ‘wellness’ is only applied to diet and exercise, the crew at Float Festival is trying to redefine the term.

Their version of the buzzword is less about hemp and flip flops and more about creativity, learning, honesty, conversation, non-judgement, having fun and most importantly; good food and drink.

Float Festival will bring inspiring, fun and uplifting workshops, talks, music and yoga to Manchester’s Five Four Studios, and promises to open your eyes and relax your mind. The one-day festival will be split into five sections; Play, Move, Engage, Inspire and Restore.

Festival goers will be able to enjoy free reflexology, massages, reiki, modern meditation, pop-up performances, flash mob volleyball (I’m not sure either) and photography exhibitions. As well as food, drink, music, independent pop-up shops and, to top it all off, there’ll be biodegradable glitter!

Come to Float for a day you’ll never forget!

Tickets are priced at £25 each and are available from Fever: book tickets now for the morning and afternoon sessions.
