And you can sit in the stripey seats!
Victoria Baths has partnered up with The Village Screen for a special Valentines screening of two iconic films.
On February 14 the glorious grade II listed swimming pool and Turkish baths complex will be transformed into a cosy pop-up cinema for a special screening of the Tarentino classic, True Romance, followed by raucous rom-com, Bridesmaids, on February 15.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of the baths before grabbing some popcorn and taking a seat on either the candy-striped deckchairs inside the gala pool, or on the balcony overlooking the pool.
There’ll also be a pop-up bar serving themed cocktails, hot boozy drinks, hot chocolates, Prosecco, wines, and local beers along with tasty street food.
Victoria Baths, known as Manchester’s water palace, opened in 1906 and is widely recognised as Britain’s finest municipal swimming pool.
The Baths are now managed by Victoria Baths Trust and operate as a heritage visitor attraction and events venue.
