These Are The Hottest New Restaurants To Try In Manchester This October

Your guide to the freshest places to eat in Greater Manchester.

Another month, another flock of new openings across our wonderful city – and this month, there’s a running theme of tasty bakes that we’re pleasantly surprised to welcome to town (because let’s face it, the only thing that’s been consistently there for us this year is sugar!). If you’re looking for somewhere new to fuel up this month, check out our guide to the hottest new restaurants and foodie spots in Manchester this October.

Just Natas, City Centre

Opening just one week ago in Manchester Arndale’s Food Market, Just Natas is a brand new concept from the team behind Federal – and it’s already catapulting towards cult fave status. Serving just Pastel De Natas, the sweet spot is the perfect stop-off for a lunchtime treat and coffee, serving from 10am til they sell-out. Just Natas, 49 High St, M4 3AH.

The Green Lab NQ, Northern Quarter

A brand new ‘lifestyle destination’ in the NQ, The Green Lab NQ is the perfect spot to visit after months of carbing it up in lockdown – with healthy juices, salads, and a health studio all under one roof. The space offers a selection of fitness classes – as well as tasty grub that won’t have you leaving feeling guilty, including wraps, smoothie bowls, build-your-own salads and even CBD key lime pie! The Green Lab NQ, 43 Port St, M1 2EQ.

Triple Bagels, Prestwich

Moving to Prestwich after a lengthy stint in the NQ as Eat New York, Triple Bagels is one for the meat-lovers, and boy do they not disappoint. Think stacked bagels packed with juicy meats, salt beef, pastrami burgers and more. The new spot offers takeaway via Deliveroo and Uber Eats within the area, and takeaway for those who want to stop by. Triple Bagels, 24 Bury New Road, M250LD.

Biff’s, City Centre

Biff’s has been stealing the hearts of vegans for quite some time down in London, but now, Mancs can get a piece of the action, too, with takeaway available to order via Deliveroo from their new Oxford Road kitchen. They’ve absolutely mastered the art of the jackfruit burger, with ‘wingz’, burgers and more available. Biff’s, Oxford Road M13 9GP – Deliveroo only.

Dive Bar & Grill, Northern Quarter

Dive Bar & Grill has re-opened with a huge new re-vamp, and it’s looking as tasty as ever. Utilising their outdoor space next door to Crazy Pedros and NQ64, the bar has now introduced a gorgeous new outdoor terrace, with steaks taking the spotlight on their brand new menu. Dive Bar & Grill, Tib St, M4 1SH.

Long Boi’s Bakehouse, Levenshulme

The brainchild of ex-Pollen and Siop Shop bakers, Long Boi’s Bakehouse is set to open in Levenshulme this month (inspired by a cute little Dachshund of course), with gorgeous cakes, tarts, quiche, croissants, cookies (and so much more) just some of the baker’s specialities. Expect tons of sweet treats and savoury items when they do open. Long Boi’s Bakehouse, 40 Forest Range, M19 2HP.

Ate Days A Week, Stockport

New to Stockport, Ate Days A Week is an inventive sandwich shop – with each menu item taking inspiration from musical favourites. We’re absolutely loving some of the puns, too, including the Pie of the Tiger pies, I Ham The Walrus focaccia, and You Can’t Curry Love sub roll. Ate Days A Week, 8 Vernon Street, Stockport, SK1 1TY.

In other new opening news, Roxy Ball Room has taken over the iconic Birdcage bar with a brand new games venue.
