Back in October, it was announced that the iconic UK garage/rap outfit The Streets are set to perform a very special show at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl, performing their seminal album ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free‘ in full across a tour of UK dates. Now, Mike Skinner and co. have also announced a curated show at Manchester’s Warehouse Project for this November, closing out their UK stint of 2026.
On November 5, The Streets perform their iconic album ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’ for a final time. Having never been played in full until this year, this will be the last opportunity to see this special performance in the UK, at one of the country’s most iconic club night series.

The Streets gig will run from 7pm-11pm, and consists of a headline show only, keeping the focus on this characterful and still-unique piece of music culture.
The Streets will play opening track It Was Supposed To Be So Easy, closing epic Empty Cans, and everything in between (Blinded By The Lights! Fit But You Know It!), bringing some of the most iconic tunes in British music history to Depot Mayfield. It’s set to be quite the night.
Speaking on the announcement, Mike Skinner said: “A Grand Don’t Come For Free was a moment in time — for me, and for everyone who grew up with it. I wrote it as a story from beginning to end, even studying screenwriting to shape it and without the faintest idea how people would react.
“We’ve been looking for something bold to do with the live show, and we landed here: some tracks have never been played live, others haven’t surfaced in years. It’s a new challenge to bring the whole journey to life on stage, but I have an incredible band and we always give everything every night. So I’m certain we’ll make finding out what happened to that thousand quid a party every night.”
