Box on the Docks just got a new resident.
Following the huge success of Grandad’s Sausages recent takeover at the new MediaCityUK grill, Adam Thomas’ popular The Spinn restaurant is set to take up a residency at Box on the Docks – providing a unique dining experience complete with tasty burgers.
Kicking off the summer season in style, The Spinn will be the first of many upcoming takeovers within the perfectly-preened MediaCityUK gardens, with guests able to try out new and different foods while dining in a spectacular socially distant environment.
Set to offer a mouthwatering selection of burgers, the pop-up will see fan-favourites such as The Burnham; consisting of two grass-fed beef patties topped with American cheese, chorizo, red pepper, fresh chilli, scotch bonnet and rhubarb glaze and mayo, as well as The Cheese and their veggie and vegan burgers, too.
Alongside the juicy, stacked burgers, guests will also be able to enjoy a menu of signature Box on the Docks cocktails, as well as a brand new brunch menu and kid-friendly options, too.
Originally launching to support the arts community throughout the pandemic, the successful pop-up has continued with its creative theme, commissioning local artists to decorate the fantastic summer greenhouses.
Adam Thomas, co-owner of The Spinn said: “Lockdown was definitely a shock to the system but we’re back again and here we are opening a pop-up residency at Box on the Docks.
“We’re thrilled to be spending time in this thriving place with the BBC and ITV so close by, and while I’m flipping burgers I can even see Coronation Street just across the way so I’ll give them a little wave. This is what we got into the restaurant industry for, to see people happy and to make great food.”
Josie Cahill, MediaCityUK Place Director added: “We’re really excited to welcome The Spinn to Box on the Docks as not only will they be offering even more delicious choice for our visitors but Adam and Scott have a real fan base here and will bring a celebrity buzz to our growing hospitality offer.”
The Spinn’s pop-up will consist of 15 greenhouses in total, with room enough for six in each and bookings open for tables from 12pm-8pm from the 1st July to 8th August. The pop-up will initially run from Thursdays to Sundays before extending to seven days. For the less organised among us, the pop-up also features additional benches and deck chairs for walk-ins, as well as a takeaway option, too.
New additions for Box on the Docks this summer also include The Box on the Docks Bar and Grill – which is currently housing Kong’s Chicken Shop – as well as Seven Bro7hers very own greenhouses outside of their bar, and supper menus from Vertigo Plant-Based Eatery.
