Acclaimed London celebrity favourite The Ivy will open a restaurant in Manchester next month.
The Ivy Spinningfields will open in Manchester on November 27, offering Mancunians a totally new dining experience set across four fabulous floors, making it the largest restaurant to open in the UK this year, with space for approximately 535 covers.
The gorgeous timber-framed space will be based in the city’s financial district and surrounded by lush foliage, creating a welcome green space in the heart of the city. The restaurant will feature a ground floor brasserie, first-floor private dining room, an opulent Asian bar and restaurant on the second floor, as well a sumptuous roof garden complete with fire pits and lush greenery on the top floor.
A traditional Ivy brasserie will be situated on the ground floor and will be open all day, seven days a week, serving modern British classics to suit all occasions. All-encompassing menus will feature a variety of dishes including truffled orzo pasta, lobster linguine and slow-cooked lamb shoulder.
And on the first floor, The Dalton Room will be available for those seeking a more exclusive experience, accommodating parties of up to twenty seated guests. The private room will be available to book seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as standing receptions. And with its floor to ceiling glass walls, guests will be able to enjoy natural lighting and views across Spinningfields.
The second floor will be home to the first-ever ‘Ivy Asia’ – a glamorous bar and restaurant, serving
Asian-inspired cocktails and dishes. The entire floor will be illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor, set against a striking antique gold mirrored bar, gold-gilt ceiling and luxurious Asian fabrics. And The Geisha Room, a stunning private room with bespoke mirrored artwork, will also be available for private hire.
The top floor will be home to what The Ivy owners are calling Manchester’s first Roof Garden, with a fully retractable roof, the spectacular space will be open all year round. Guests will be able to enjoy food and cocktails alongside an abundance of planting, greenery and foliage, roaring fire pits and colourful fabrics, all creating an enchanting oasis in the heart of Manchester.
Baton Berisha, Director of Operations for The Ivy Collection, said:
“We are incredibly excited to bring The Ivy Collection to Manchester this winter. Situated within the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester’s luxury dining and shopping quarter, we can’t wait to showcase our different floors, dining concepts and offerings. They’ll be something for everyone and we hope to bring something new to the city.”
Once open, the restaurant will host an exciting mix of guest DJs, events and entertainment on each of its four floors. Reservations can be made for all floors, while walk-ins will be welcomed for those wishing to experience either the Ivy Brasserie, Ivy Asia or the Roof Garden.
